As a provider of services to disenfranchised and marginalized groups, Alaiyia combines her expertise as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with her live-experience as a transgender woman of color to create a dynamic and diverse educational experience. Trainings offered include (but are not limited to) cultural competence in the medical treatment of transgender/Gender-Nonconforming individuals, therapeutic approaches to treatment of LGBTQIA+ individuals, and community awareness endeavors in efforts of contributing to social justice for the aforementioned community.
